Brett Rutkowski, Esq.

Brett Rutkowski, Esq. grew up in the Orange County area and attended Whittier College. He graduated with a BA in English Literature. Upon graduation in 2009, Brett joined the Los Angeles Police Department. He worked assignments in patrol, narcotics, and detectives throughout South Los Angeles. During this time, Brett also attended Loyola Law School. He worked for the LAPD for approximately thirteen years, finishing his time at the rank of both Detective and Sergeant.

During his time with the LAPD, Brett gained experience in handling complaint investigations, use of force(s), officer involved shootings, and criminal investigations. He also worked with officers in assisting them through administrative complaints and written appeals.
