Michael Neaderbaomer, Esq.
Michael is an Associate with Ferrone Law Group representing law enforcement, correctional officers and fire personnel in disciplinary issues, internal affairs investigations and officer-involved shootings.
Michael brings some wide-ranging experience after retiring with 30 years in Southern California law enforcement. He has previously represented peace officers on both sides of the table as an Internal Affairs Investigator and Labor Union Representative. His knowledge in discipline issues is diverse and far reaching with a multi-faceted approach to help identify the needs, career goals and expectations of the employee.
Michael previously worked for eleven years as an attorney with Lexipol LLC where he wrote training bulletins and policies and procedures for law enforcement agencies across the country. Michael’s knowledge of the use of force issues stems from his sixteen years of experience as a self-defense, baton and firearms instructor and ten years on SWAT.
Mr. Neaderbaomer intimately understands the lopsided nature and targeting of employees for misconduct with selective enforcement of certain policies that are applied on an inconsistent basis. Being falsely accused or overly prosecuted is serious and has long term, and in some cases lifelong, negative impacts on the accused employee and their family. Refocusing the employer on the facts of each specific and unique case, with an eye on objectivity, fairness and consistency is necessary to obtain a favorable outcome while maintaining a healthy employee/employer relationship.
Michael is a combat veteran of the U.S. Army special operations community, and he obtained his law degree from the University of La Verne College of Law where he has been admitted to practice law in California since 2005.
