Richard Ceballos, Esq.
Richard Ceballos joins the Ferrone Law Group after recently retiring from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office after 34 years of distinguished service. During his career, Richard prosecuted almost every type of criminal case possible ranging from misdemeanor driving under the influence to robbery, rape, and murder cases. He gained specialized experience in the prosecution of hate crimes, sex crimes, narcotics, gangs, and public corruption. His last assignment was with the Organized Crime Division, where he prosecuted gang members charged with committing multiple serious and violent crimes.
Richard received multiple commendations from his own office, the Association of Deputy District Attorneys, the Criminal Courts Bar Association, the US Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the US Department of Defense.
Richard has also been a part-time instructor at the University of Southern California (USC) and University of California at Irvine (UCI) Schools of Law. He has lectured extensively on various subjects for the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) in Johannesburg, South Africa, Beijing, China, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Cartegena, Colombia, and Moscow, Russian Federation.
Richard is admitted to practice law in California and the United States Supreme Court. Richard graduated from Loyola Law School in 1989 and from the University of Southern California in 1985. Richard was also a licensed boxing coach for USA Boxing.
