Ryan T. Trotta, Esq.

Ryan, a partner with Ferrone Law Group, has dedicated his career to representing public safety associations and their members. He represents safety members in workers’ compensation claims, specializing in complex litigation of cancer, cardiovascular and industrial death benefits. Ryan’s litigation skill set has allowed him to prevail for his clients at the trial level, Workers Compensation Appeals Board level and twice in front of the California Court of Appeals. In addition to his litigation wins, Ryan negotiates alternative dispute resolution (ADR) programs on behalf of associations to expedite workers compensation claims. Ryan has also delivered valuable training sessions for associations across the state of California on the workers’ compensation system and how to achieve success in a system designed to slow and frustrate injured workers. Prior to joining Ferrone Law Group, Ryan worked extensively with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. While with both offices, Ryan participated in the prosecution of countless criminal matters ranging from domestic violence to murder. Ryan attended college at Gonzaga University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance. He then went on to attend law school at Pepperdine University School of Law. During his tenure at Pepperdine, Ryan was part of the award-winning interschool trial team, as well as chairman of the Moot Court program.
