Ryan T. Trotta, Esq.

Ryan is a partner at Ferrone Law Group and serves as Lead Trial Counsel, with a primary focus on representing first responders, including police officers, firefighters, and correctional officers. He manages and leads the firm’s Personal Injury and Employment Litigation Department from its main office in Westlake Village.

Ryan’s practice is centered on trial-ready, high-stakes litigation, including catastrophic motor vehicle collisions, traumatic brain injuries, trucking accidents, premises liability cases, and wrongful termination and federal actions brought under 42 U.S.C. §1983. He is frequently entrusted with cases destined for trial and is known for his rigorous preparation and strategic advocacy. Ryan works closely with clients and their families to guide them through every stage of the litigation process while aggressively pursuing accountability, compensation, and long-term protection of their rights.

Prior to joining Ferrone Law Group, Ryan worked extensively with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. In those roles, he participated in the prosecution of a wide range of criminal matters, from domestic violence cases to homicide prosecutions—experience that now informs his decisive, trial-focused approach in civil litigation.

Ryan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from Gonzaga University before attending Pepperdine University School of Law. While at Pepperdine, he was a member of the award-winning interschool trial team and served as Chairman of the Moot Court program.
