A Two-Year Battle Results In A 6-Figure Settlement For The Son Of A Officer

After two years of aggressive litigation, Ferrone Law Group (FLG) secured a high six-figure settlement for their client against Kern High School District (KHSD). FLG represented the minor son of a public safety officer. The client, a student at a school within KHSD, was aggressively approached by another student during P.E. class. The other student followed him around the track area where the class was being held, under the loose supervision of the P.E. teacher. The client was viciously attacked by the aggressive student, surrounded by other students and the teacher who was only feet away. Instead of intervening, the teacher, after delay, had other students break up the attack. Following the assault, the client suffered bodily injuries, including a closed head injury.

They soon realized our office was more than ready to take this matter to trial. Soon after KCHS changed their tune.
