Taylor Mathis, Esq.

Taylor is an Associate with Ferrone Law Group specializing in representing Public Safety Officers in Workers’ Compensation disputes. Taylor brings with her a breadth of experience in unique Workers’ Compensation issues. She previously clerked for several Workers’ Compensation Judges at the Van Nuys Workers Compensation Appeals Board. There, she researched and assisted in drafting opinions regarding new and developing issues arising in California Workers’ Compensation law.

During law school, she served the community by volunteering in her school’s Community Justice Clinic. There, she worked with local non-profit corporations, assisting their owners in managing complex tax and legal issues that were unique to their business organization.

Taylor graduated Cum Laude from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, where she was an Executive Editor of the Dispute Resolution Law Journal. She also received her Certificate of Dispute Resolution from the accompanying Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, which is consistently ranked amongst the top dispute resolution programs in the world. Prior to law school, Taylor graduated Summa Cum Laude from UC San Diego with a degree in political science and a minor in human rights.
